Boca Raton Airport

Boca Raton Airport is Palm Beach County's dedicated general aviation facility. With no commercial airline service, the airport is used exclusively by private and charter operations, which means short taxi times, no terminal congestion, and ramp access that is straightforward compared to nearby Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (KFLL) or Palm Beach International (KPBI).

The airport has one runway (runway 5/23) at 6,276 feet, which handles light jets, midsize jets, and most super-midsize aircraft comfortably. Heavy or ultra-long-range jets may be better served at KPBI 25 miles north, which has longer runways and more ramp capacity. KBCT has noise abatement procedures in effect during overnight hours, so late-night or early-morning departures should be confirmed with your operator in advance.

No customs or CBP services are available on site. International arrivals must clear customs at a designated port of entry such as KPBI or KFLL before continuing to KBCT.

Downtown Boca Raton is roughly 3 miles from the airport, a 10-minute drive. Delray Beach is about 8 miles north (15 minutes). Fort Lauderdale is 20 miles south (25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic on I-95 or US-1). Miami is approximately 45 miles south, typically 45 to 60 minutes by car. West Palm Beach and the Palm Beach island area are about 25 miles north, a 30-minute drive under normal conditions.

Most FBOs at KBCT can arrange car service or have partnerships with local black car providers. Uber and Lyft serve the airport. Rental cars are available through coordination with the FBO.
