National Jets has been on the field since 1947. For meetings in Broward County, Fort Lauderdale beach, or the Aventura corridor, KFLL provides a shorter drive than routing through Opa-locka. The airport handles heavy jets and international arrivals with full customs facilities.

Palm Beach International (KPBI) serves the northern end of the South Florida market from West Palm Beach, 70 miles north of Miami. Signature and Atlantic operate there. For travelers headed to Palm Beach, Boca Raton, or Jupiter, KPBI is the correct arrival airport rather than routing through Miami or Fort Lauderdale and driving north on I-95.
