Leesburg International Airport

Leesburg International Airport is a general aviation facility with no scheduled commercial service. That means no TSA lines, no gate holds, and direct ramp access. For passengers heading to Lake County, The Villages, or the western Orlando suburbs, flying into KLEE avoids the congestion of Orlando International (MCO) and Executive (ORL) entirely.

The airport sits at roughly 76 feet elevation on flat central Florida terrain. It has two paved runways and handles both piston and turbine traffic. Charter operations are limited, so expect a quieter FBO environment than you'd find at a busier reliever airport. There are no slot requirements and no known noise curfews.

The Villages, one of the most active charter destinations in central Florida, is about 15 miles north of the airport, a 20-minute drive. Downtown Orlando is roughly 45 miles southeast, typically 45 to 55 minutes depending on traffic on US-441 or the Florida Turnpike. Walt Disney World and the International Drive resort corridor are about 50 miles southeast, around an hour by car. Rental cars and ground transportation should be arranged in advance, as on-site options are limited.
