Perot Field/Fort Worth Alliance Airport

Fort Worth Alliance Airport was purpose-built for aviation and industrial use, opened in 1989 as the first purely industrial airport in the United States. It sits within the AllianceTexas development, a 27,000-acre master-planned logistics and business park that surrounds the airport on all sides. For private aviation passengers, this means ground operations are fast and uncongested. You will not compete with commercial airline traffic.

The airport has two parallel runways, both over 9,000 feet, which accommodate large-cabin and ultra-long-range jets without restriction. FBO services are available on the field. The cargo and industrial character of the surrounding area means ramp space is not a problem, and there is no terminal congestion typical of airports near urban cores.

KAFW is a viable alternative to Dallas Love Field (KDAL) or Dallas/Fort Worth International (KDFW) for passengers whose destination is north Fort Worth, Keller, Southlake, Westlake, or the Alliance corridor itself. For trips into central Dallas or Fort Worth, the drive adds meaningful time compared to Love Field.

Downtown Fort Worth is 17 miles south via I-35W, typically 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic. Downtown Dallas is roughly 35 miles southeast, closer to 45 to 55 minutes. The Cities of Westlake, Keller, Southlake, and Trophy Club are 10 to 20 minutes from the airport. Car service and rental are the standard options. The airport's location within a major commercial and logistics district means major highways are immediately accessible.
