Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport

T. F. Green is a commercial airport with a dedicated FBO ramp, so private arrivals bypass the terminal entirely. Signature Flight Support is the primary FBO on the field. The airport sits in Warwick, a suburban city on the western shore of Narragansett Bay, and handles a mix of scheduled carriers and general aviation without the congestion you'd find at Boston Logan or JFK.

There are no slot requirements at KPVD. Runway 5-23 is 7,166 feet, which handles most large-cabin jets without restriction. The airport has U.S. Customs and Border Protection on site, making it a practical entry point for international arrivals who want to clear customs away from major hub delays. Night operations are permitted, though noise abatement procedures apply for departures over residential neighborhoods.

Providence's downtown waterfront is about 12 miles north of the airport, typically 20 to 25 minutes by car. Newport is roughly 28 miles southeast via Route 138, a 35 to 45 minute drive depending on traffic on the Pell Bridge. Boston is 60 miles north on I-95, which runs 60 to 90 minutes outside peak hours but can stretch considerably during morning and evening rush. Car service and black car companies based in Providence and Warwick serve the airport. There is no rail connection directly to the terminal.
