About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation is the sole FBO at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, serving Providence and the greater Rhode Island area from a facility at 544 Airport Road in Warwick, just six miles south of downtown. As the only private aviation operator on the field, Atlantic handles all general aviation traffic at an airport that offers a less congested alternative to Boston's Logan International for passengers whose destinations are in southern New England. The terminal provides a pilot lounge, snooze room, showers, WiFi, a conference room, and complimentary amenities. A shuttle service is available, and Enterprise Rent A Car operates on site. The facility provides Type I and Type IV deicing, which is critical for year-round operations in New England's winter weather. U.S. Customs is available on site for international general aviation arrivals. Atlantic offers 24-hour surveillance and security, and the Atlantic Gateway digital platform allows flight departments to manage reservations and service requests remotely. T.F. Green's location provides strategic flexibility for passengers traveling to Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts, or eastern Connecticut. Providence's downtown is 15 minutes north, with easy access to the Rhode Island School of Design campus, Brown University on College Hill, and the city's restaurant district on Federal Hill. Newport, one of New England's premier sailing and resort destinations, is about 30 minutes south. Cape Cod is roughly an hour east, and Boston is about an hour north by car. For passengers attending events at the Providence Convention Center or visiting the area's universities, T.F. Green offers a streamlined private aviation experience that avoids the expense and delays of operating through Boston. The airport's 7,166-foot primary runway accommodates most business jet types through the super-midsize category.
