Southwest Oregon Regional Airport

Southwest Oregon Regional Airport is the only paved, publicly available airport with instrument approach capability on Oregon's southern coast. The nearest alternatives for private jet operations are Rogue Valley International in Medford, about 135 miles southeast, and Eugene Airport, about 110 miles north. If your destination is anywhere in Coos County, Curry County, or Douglas County's coastal communities, KOTH is the practical choice.

The airport is uncongested. No slot requirements, no ground delay programs, and no commercial airline traffic to compete with at the gate. Fixed-base operations are modest, sized for regional traffic. Fuel, ramp access, and basic passenger services are available. The runway is approximately 5,000 feet, which supports most light and midsize jets. Larger heavy jets may have range or performance limitations depending on conditions.

North Bend and Coos Bay are immediately adjacent to the airport, roughly 2 to 3 miles from the terminal. Bandon, a coastal destination with high-end golf at Bandon Dunes, is about 25 miles south, under 30 minutes by car. Roseburg is about 90 miles east on US-42 and OR-99, typically 1.5 to 2 hours. Eugene is roughly 115 miles north via US-101 and OR-38, around 2 hours depending on route. Car rental is available at the airport. Pre-arranged car service or a rental is the standard option; ride-share coverage in this area is limited.
