About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation at Orlando International provides a second FBO option for charter passengers using central Florida's primary airport. The facility at 9245 Tradeport Drive operates around the clock and offers a full suite of ground handling services as an alternative to Signature Flight Support on the other side of the field.
The terminal includes a pilot lounge with showers, a passenger waiting area with comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and crew cars for short local trips. Hertz rental cars are available on site. Atlantic's digital platform, Atlantic Gateway, allows operators and passengers to make reservations and request services with real-time updates from any device, which is useful for coordinating arrivals and departures remotely.
Orlando International's long runways and full instrument approach system mean no aircraft type restrictions, and the airport's status as an international port of entry with on-field customs makes it suitable for arrivals from anywhere. The field handles heavy traffic year-round, and Atlantic's line crew is experienced with quick turnarounds.
The location provides convenient access to all of Orlando's major destinations. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and the convention center district are all within a 20-minute drive. The airport is also well positioned for passengers heading to the Space Coast, with Kennedy Space Center about an hour east, or to the retirement and golf communities of southwest Orange County.
Having two FBOs at MCO creates competitive pressure on pricing and service quality, which benefits charter passengers and operators. Atlantic tends to offer a slightly more boutique atmosphere compared to Signature's larger-scale operation, and some operators prefer the personal attention. For passengers whose operator recommends Atlantic, or who simply want an alternative to the higher-volume Signature facility, this is a professional operation with easy access to everything Orlando offers.
