Downtown Chicago (the Loop) is 30 miles east. In off-peak traffic the drive runs 40 to 50 minutes via I-88 East to I-290. During rush hour, budget 70 to 90 minutes. Naperville is 10 miles south, roughly 15 minutes by car. Wheaton and Glen Ellyn are within 5 miles of the field.

Car services serving the western suburbs depart directly from the FBO ramp. Uber and Lyft have reasonable pickup times given the surrounding suburban density. Chicago Executive (PWK) is 25 miles north for passengers whose destination is the North Shore; Midway is 25 miles east for South Side destinations.
