Beverly Regional Airport

Beverly Regional Airport is the practical choice for private jet passengers heading to Massachusetts's North Shore. It sits between Beverly and Danvers, within easy reach of Salem, Marblehead, Gloucester, Rockport, and Newburyport. It draws passengers who want to avoid the congestion and delays at Boston Logan and the increasingly busy Hanscom Field (KBED) to the west.

The airport has a single paved runway of roughly 4,843 feet, which handles light and midsize jets comfortably. Larger heavy jets may require weight or performance considerations. Operations here are low-key compared to the Boston-area alternatives: no slot controls, no commercial traffic to compete with, and ramp access that is straightforward for FBO-based arrivals.

Aircraft Services Group handles FBO services on the field. The airport is a general aviation facility with no international customs clearance, so all arriving flights must be domestic or pre-clear elsewhere.

Salem is about 5 miles southwest, roughly 10 minutes by car. Marblehead is about 8 miles and 15 minutes. Gloucester and the Cape Ann area are 15 miles northeast, around 20 to 25 minutes without traffic. Newburyport is approximately 20 miles north, about 30 minutes.

Downtown Boston is 25 to 30 miles south via Route 128 and I-93. Plan for 45 minutes in light traffic and up to 90 minutes during the evening rush. Car service from Beverly to Boston runs around $80 to $120 depending on the provider. There is no scheduled helicopter transfer service from KBVY, but charter options can be arranged on request.
