Stuttgart Airport

Stuttgart Airport handles both commercial and business aviation on a single campus. The GA and business aviation terminal operates separately from the main commercial building, with handling agents including Aviapartner and others providing ramp access, fueling, and crew services. The airport is a Level 3 coordinated airport in Germany's slot system, meaning prior slot coordination is required for arrival and departure during peak hours. Night flight restrictions apply at EDDS. Departures and arrivals are restricted between 11pm and 6am local time, with limited exceptions for technical emergencies. Stuttgart's S-Bahn S2 and S3 lines run from the airport to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof in approximately 27 minutes and operate frequently, which is useful for passengers traveling light or connecting to onward rail.

Porsche's headquarters and museum in Zuffenhausen is about 18 km from the airport (25 to 35 minutes). Mercedes-Benz's museum and Stuttgart campus is approximately 20 km away in Bad Cannstatt. For passengers visiting either company directly, confirm which Stuttgart-area facility you need, as factory and office locations differ from the public museums.
