About Kurz Aviation Service
Kurz Aviation Service has operated Germany's first private General Aviation Terminal at Stuttgart Airport since 1998, serving approximately 36,000 passengers per year. The modern passenger building provides complete general aviation services including a dedicated apron, hangars, and terminal, all separate from the commercial terminal operations. The spacious lobby allows passengers to wait in a pleasant atmosphere, and the facility includes a briefing room and crew lounges with all necessary communication equipment. VIP services include personal reception, a dedicated contact person, valet parking, door-to-door service, catering, an exclusive VIP lounge, baggage check-in, and security and passport control all handled within the GAT itself. Kurz brings over 25 years of experience and has partnered with ExecuJet to deliver its handling services. GAT opening hours run from 5:30 AM to 11:00 PM, with departures between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM and arrivals accepted until 11:30 PM. For charter passengers, Stuttgart Airport provides access to one of Germany's most economically important regions. The Baden-Wurttemberg capital is home to Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Bosch, along with hundreds of mid-sized industrial companies (the Mittelstand). The airport is about 13 kilometers south of the city center, reachable in 20 to 30 minutes by car. Kurz's private terminal keeps you entirely separate from the commercial passenger flow, and the VIP service team handles every step from arrival to ground transport. The dedicated apron and hangar space mean your aircraft is parked close to the terminal for quick turnarounds.

Operations at Stuttgart Airport
The city center is 13 km north of the airport, typically 20 to 30 minutes by car depending on traffic. The A8 motorway provides the main corridor. Chauffeur and car hire services are available through the handling agents. Stuttgart's S-Bahn S2 and S3 lines run from the airport to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof in approximately 27 minutes and operate frequently, which is useful for passengers traveling light or connecting to onward rail. Porsche's headquarters and museum in Zuffenhausen is about 18 km from the airport (25 to 35 minutes). Mercedes-Benz's museum and Stuttgart campus is approximately 20 km away in Bad Cannstatt. For passengers visiting either company directly, confirm which Stuttgart-area facility you need, as factory and office locations differ from the public museums.
