About Skyservice Toronto South
Skyservice Toronto South is the newest business aviation center at Pearson International Airport, representing the first new FBO construction at the airport in 17 years. The facility at 5455 Flightline Drive in Mississauga features a high-efficiency sustainable design with 20,000 square feet of office and lounge space and 100,000 square feet of hangar space. Inside, the terminal includes a full-service passenger lounge and a modern business center. The facility provides the full range of Skyservice's business aviation services, including aircraft management, charter, maintenance, sales and brokerage, and fixed base operations. For charter passengers, Skyservice Toronto South primarily serves managed aircraft clients, meaning the facility handles aircraft that Skyservice operates and maintains on behalf of owners. The arrival experience follows the same Skyservice model found at the Midfield terminal: private entrance, lounge, customs clearance (for international flights), and ramp access. The facility is about 20 minutes from Toronto's city center. As a brand-new building, the terminal features updated design and energy efficiency standards that distinguish it from older FBO facilities at Pearson. Skyservice can coordinate all ground logistics including car service, hotel arrangements, and catering. The 100,000 square-foot hangar provides substantial capacity for aircraft storage and maintenance work. While the Midfield terminal handles the higher volume of transient private jet traffic at Pearson, the South facility provides a quieter, more dedicated environment for its managed fleet clients.
Amenities and services
Operations at Toronto Pearson International Airport
Downtown Toronto (Bay Street financial district, King Street West) is about 27 km to the east, typically 35 to 45 minutes by car off-peak. During morning or evening rush hour on the 401 or Gardiner Expressway, that can stretch past 75 minutes. A car service or hire vehicle is the standard option for private aviation passengers. The UP Express train connects Pearson to Union Station in about 25 minutes, but access is from the commercial Terminal 1, not the FBO ramps. Mississauga city centre is roughly 10 minutes away. Hamilton is about 70 km southwest, around 50 to 60 minutes. Niagara Falls is approximately 130 km, about 90 minutes by road. For passengers heading to cottage country (Muskoka, Collingwood), drive times run 2 to 2.5 hours north depending on traffic on Highway 400.
