Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport

Toledo Express handles both commercial and general aviation traffic, which means private arrivals get a real FBO experience without the congestion of a major hub. The airport is uncongested by any measure, with no slot requirements and straightforward ramp access. Fixed-base operators on the field can accommodate aircraft up to large-cabin heavy jets.

The airport sits in flat northwest Ohio terrain with no significant approach obstacles. Runway 7 is 7,200 feet, which is adequate for most large-cabin jets with standard loads. Operations run around the clock. The airport was renamed in 2021 to honor Eugene F. Kranz, the NASA flight director who managed the Apollo 13 rescue.

Downtown Toledo is about 12 miles east of the airport, a 20-25 minute drive depending on traffic. Car rentals are available on the field, and charter car services serve the airport on request. Detroit city center is roughly 60 miles northeast, typically just over an hour by car. Ann Arbor is about 45 miles east, around 50 minutes. Columbus is 150 miles south, approximately two hours.
