About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation operates the FBO at Northeast Florida Regional Airport, positioned about four miles north of St. Augustine along U.S. Route 1. The facility serves the historic First Coast region with a comfortable terminal, full-service ground handling, and the consistent service standards of the Atlantic Aviation network.
The terminal provides a passenger waiting area, pilot lounge, Wi-Fi, and a welcoming interior designed for both leisure and business travelers. Concierge services cover ground transportation, hotel reservations, and restaurant recommendations throughout the St. Augustine area. Fueling with Jet A and 100LL is available, along with hangar space and aircraft parking. The Atlantic Gateway digital platform allows passengers and trip planners to request services and track real-time updates from any device.
St. Augustine, founded in 1565, is the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement in the United States, and its compact historic district, Castillo de San Marcos, and Flagler College draw steady tourist traffic year-round. The city's beaches, particularly St. Augustine Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach to the south, attract seasonal visitors. The TPC Sawgrass golf complex in Ponte Vedra, home of THE PLAYERS Championship, is about 25 miles southeast and generates significant private aviation activity each March.
The airport's primary runway, 13/31, is 5,998 feet, which comfortably handles light and midsize jets. Super-midsize and larger aircraft should check performance requirements carefully given the runway length. For passengers visiting St. Augustine or the northern First Coast communities, Atlantic Aviation SGJ provides convenient access without the traffic and commercial congestion of Jacksonville International 50 miles to the north.
