Eastern Oregon Regional Airport at Pendleton

KPDT is the primary airport for eastern Oregon, sitting at 1,492 feet elevation on the plateau above the Columbia River. It handles general aviation and regional commercial traffic without the congestion of larger Pacific Northwest airports. No slots, no curfews, and FBO service is available on the field.

The airport is well-suited for charter access to the Pendleton Round-Up (mid-September), Wildhorse Resort and Casino, and ranch properties across Umatilla and Morrow counties. The Walla Walla Valley wine region is about 50 miles north, and most guests heading there fly into KPDT or nearby Walla Walla Regional (KALW) depending on where they're staying.

The airport sits about 4 miles east of downtown Pendleton, a 10-minute drive. Car rental is available on-site. Walla Walla, WA is roughly 50 miles north on US-11, about 55 minutes. Portland is 210 miles west on I-84, around 3 hours. Boise is approximately 200 miles southeast, also about 3 hours. No scheduled helicopter transfer service operates from KPDT; ground transport or a rental car is the standard option.
