About Avflight Flint

Avflight Flint operates the FBO at Bishop International Airport, Michigan's third-busiest airport, located at 3375 West Bristol Road in Flint. The facility provides full-service ground handling around the clock, supporting both transient and based aircraft with the professionalism of the Avflight network.

The FBO features a comfortable passenger and pilot lounge, a flight planning room, a conference room, and business amenities including a copier, fax machine, and internet access. Rental cars are available on site, making ground transportation seamless. The facility operates a new 88,000-gallon fuel farm and handles charter, cargo, and baggage operations.

Heated hangar capacity accommodates aircraft up to Beech 1900 and Dash 8 size, while the ramp can handle 727-class aircraft or larger. This range makes Bishop International practical for everything from light turboprops to larger corporate jets. The facility also offers weather planning, deicing, airstart services, and preheated hangars for cold-weather operations, all critical in Michigan's winter climate.

Flint has experienced significant economic challenges in recent decades, but the city remains an important hub for the automotive industry and healthcare. General Motors maintains a substantial presence in the area, and Hurley Medical Center and McLaren Flint are major regional healthcare providers. Bishop International also serves as a gateway to the Genesee County business community and the broader mid-Michigan region.

For charter passengers, Avflight Flint provides reliable FBO services at an airport that is more accessible and less congested than Detroit Metro. The facility's 24-hour operation, modern fuel infrastructure, and cold-weather capabilities make it a dependable choice for private aviation travel to mid-Michigan.
