About Signature Flight Support DTW

Signature Flight Support is the primary FBO at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Michigan's largest and busiest airport. Located at 31705 East Service Drive in Romulus, the facility handles private and corporate aviation with on-site U.S. Customs for international operations, which is particularly relevant given Detroit's proximity to the Canadian border.

Signature DTW offers valet service with vehicle-to-plane ramp access, allowing passengers to drive directly to their aircraft. Golf cart service is available for moving around the facility, and snooze rooms provide a quiet retreat for crews during layovers. Hotel shuttle service connects the FBO to nearby airport hotels, and the staff handles ground transportation, catering, and concierge requests.

Detroit Metro features multiple runways, with the longest stretching over 12,000 feet, accommodating aircraft of any size without restriction. The airport's location approximately 20 miles southwest of downtown Detroit puts it about 30 minutes from the central business district, the GM Renaissance Center, Ford's Dearborn headquarters, and Stellantis operations.

For charter passengers, DTW is the go-to airport for large-cabin aircraft visiting the Detroit metro area. The automotive industry drives the majority of private aviation demand here, with executives, suppliers, and international partners all flowing through regularly. The airport is also well-positioned for reaching Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan, about 25 miles to the west.

Signature DTW provides the full suite of services expected from the world's largest FBO network at Michigan's most capable airport. The combination of customs clearance, valet ramp access, and large-aircraft handling makes it the default choice for heavy jets and international missions in the Detroit market.
