Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport

Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport is the only public-use airport in Warren County and the practical entry point for private aviation into south-central Kentucky. The airport has a single 6,500-foot runway and handles a mix of charter traffic, corporate aircraft, and training operations. There are no slot requirements and no commercial airline congestion to work around.

The main draw for charter passengers is proximity to the National Corvette Museum and GM's Corvette Assembly Plant, which generates steady corporate traffic from automotive industry visitors and enthusiasts. Western Kentucky University and a growing manufacturing base around Bowling Green also bring regular business aviation demand. Expect a straightforward FBO experience with fuel, hangars, and ramp parking without the wait times common at larger regional airports.

Downtown Bowling Green is about 5 miles from the airport, roughly 10 minutes by car. Nashville International Airport (BNA) is 65 miles south, about an hour's drive, making KBWG a useful alternative for passengers based in the northern Nashville suburbs. Louisville is 110 miles north via I-65, around 90 minutes. Rental cars are available through the FBO. Uber and Lyft operate in Bowling Green but with limited availability late at night.
