About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation at Hanscom Field opened a significant expansion in June 2022, adding three 20,000 square foot hangars, each with 28-foot doors capable of accommodating large-cabin aircraft, plus 12,000 square feet of combined office and shop space. All three new hangars were built to LEED Silver certification standards. That brings the full facility to 60,000 square feet of hangar space alongside 20,000 square feet of lobby and office area, making it one of the larger FBO footprints at the largest general aviation airport in New England.
For passengers arriving from a long flight, the concierge service handles ground coordination, and the conference rooms are available if your meeting starts at the airport. The pilot lounge includes a snooze room and a weather and flight planning center, which matters when New England weather requires a real briefing before departure. EV charging stations serve passengers and crew arriving or departing in electric vehicles, and the FBO keeps sustainable aviation fuel available for operators who require it. Ramp vehicles include electric and hybrid units.
Hanscom sits 20 miles northwest of Boston, in Bedford. The drive to Cambridge, the Seaport, or Back Bay runs 35 to 50 minutes depending on traffic. For passengers heading to Burlington, Waltham, Woburn, or the Route 128 tech corridor, the drive is considerably shorter than from Logan, and you avoid the harbor tunnel and airport ground traffic entirely.
The phone number for the FBO is 978-341-8400. Given Hanscom's role as New England's primary general aviation hub, arrival slot coordination and proactive communication with the team before your flight tends to produce smoother ground handling.
