Annecy Meythet airport

Annecy Meythet is a general aviation airport with no scheduled commercial service, which means the ramp moves at a private pace. It handles a mix of business and leisure traffic year-round, with demand spiking sharply during ski season (December through April) and again in July and August when Annecy draws summer visitors to its lake. Slot coordination is advisable during peak periods, particularly over Christmas and New Year.

The runway is 2,133 meters, sufficient for midsize jets but not for ultra-long-range aircraft with full fuel loads. The airport has customs and immigration facilities for international arrivals. Megève is about 45km, roughly 45 to 50 minutes. Courchevel is around 100km, 1.5 hours in normal conditions. Geneva is about 45km to the northwest, a 40-minute drive, which makes LFLP a practical alternative to Geneva Airport for passengers heading into the northern Alps.
