Signature Flight Support operates two terminals at Van Nuys Airport. The West terminal at 7240 Hayvenhurst Pl is where U.S. Customs and Border Protection maintains an on-site presence, which makes it the designated international gateway for KVNY. International arrivals clear customs at this terminal without transferring to a commercial airport, which is the primary reason charter operators on international itineraries route through the West facility rather than the East terminal at 7155 Valjean Ave. Passenger lounges and crew rest areas are available for layovers or turnaround flights. Ground handling and refueling are available for all aircraft types. Passengers and operators enrolled in Signature's ELITE+ loyalty program earn benefits redeemable at more than 200 Signature locations worldwide. Van Nuys Airport is 15 miles from Hollywood, putting the terminal within range of entertainment industry travel, production logistics, and corporate traffic from the San Fernando Valley without requiring passengers to transit through LAX or Burbank. The West terminal operates around the clock.

Operations at Van Nuys Airport
Beverly Hills is about 12 miles south of the airport, typically 25 to 40 minutes by car depending on traffic on the 405 or surface streets. Santa Monica runs about 15 miles southwest, Malibu around 20 miles west. Downtown Los Angeles is 25 miles southeast, roughly 35 to 55 minutes in normal conditions. Traffic on the 405 and 101 corridors can extend those times significantly during peak hours, so morning and late afternoon departures warrant extra ground time. Car service is the standard option. Clay Lacy and other FBOs at VNY can arrange ground transportation on request. Helicopter transfers to LAX, downtown, or coastal destinations are available through several operators based at the field.
