Jet Aviation opened its Van Nuys location at 16644 Roscoe Blvd in 2019, making it one of the newer terminals on the field. The 10,000 square foot terminal was built to LEED Silver specifications. Van Nuys Airport recognized the facility with the Friendly Flyer Award five times through 2023. The terminal accommodates the Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 7500, two of the longest-range ultra-large cabin aircraft in production, which makes it a practical option for transatlantic and transpacific departures originating from Los Angeles. Van Nuys is 15 miles from Hollywood. Jet Aviation Van Nuys was the first location in the Jet Aviation network to offer blended sustainable aviation fuel, which is available through the fueling desk. IS-BAH Stage 2 registration covers ground operations. On-demand maintenance is available through the facility, and charter operations are based on-site. The terminal runs 24 hours a day and is part of Jet Aviation global FBO and MRO network.

Operations at Van Nuys Airport
Beverly Hills is about 12 miles south of the airport, typically 25 to 40 minutes by car depending on traffic on the 405 or surface streets. Santa Monica runs about 15 miles southwest, Malibu around 20 miles west. Downtown Los Angeles is 25 miles southeast, roughly 35 to 55 minutes in normal conditions. Traffic on the 405 and 101 corridors can extend those times significantly during peak hours, so morning and late afternoon departures warrant extra ground time. Car service is the standard option. Clay Lacy and other FBOs at VNY can arrange ground transportation on request. Helicopter transfers to LAX, downtown, or coastal destinations are available through several operators based at the field.
