State College Regional Airport

KUNV is a single-runway regional airport that punches above its weight because of Penn State University. The airport sits 4 miles northwest of downtown State College and about the same distance from the University Park campus. On a normal week it's quiet and easy to move through. On Penn State home football weekends, it becomes one of the most congested small airports in the country. Beaver Stadium holds 107,000 people, and a significant share of the crowd flies in private. Expect ramp congestion, limited tiedown space, and slower FBO service during those windows. If your trip coincides with a home game, call ahead and confirm space well before your departure day.

Jet Linx operates at KUNV and handles charter and management services. The airport has no slot requirements and no scheduled commercial service on major carriers, which keeps general aviation traffic flowing smoothly outside of football season.
