About Signature Flight Support
Signature Flight Support is the sole FBO at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the Pacific Northwest's busiest airport and the primary gateway for private aviation serving the Seattle tech corridor. The facility occupies a 6,250-square-foot executive terminal at 18291 Starling Drive, opened in May 2016 with a modern design featuring 18-foot open-structure ceilings, energy-efficient LED lighting, and high-efficiency climate control.
The terminal includes a passenger lounge, crew facilities, a porte-cochere for weather-protected arrivals and departures, and 62 automobile parking spaces for customer and charter vehicles. After-hours service is available by calling ahead, which is worth noting given that the facility does not operate on a full 24-hour schedule. Concierge staff arrange rental cars, hotel bookings, and ground transportation throughout the Seattle and Bellevue metro areas.
Seattle's private aviation demand is driven by the concentration of technology companies in the region, including Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, and numerous startups and venture firms. The city also serves as the embarkation point for Alaska cruises departing from the Port of Seattle, generating seasonal charter traffic from May through September. The airport's three runways, the longest at 11,901 feet, handle all aircraft categories.
Because Signature operates without FBO competition at Sea-Tac, fuel pricing reflects the monopoly position, and many operators opt for nearby Boeing Field (KBFI) as an alternative when schedule flexibility permits. For passengers who need to be at Sea-Tac specifically, whether for commercial connections or proximity to airport-area hotels and businesses, Signature SEA delivers professional ground handling in a modern facility.
Amenities and services
Operations at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport
Downtown Seattle is 14 miles north of KSEA, roughly 25 to 45 minutes by car depending on I-5 traffic. Bellevue is about 15 miles northeast, typically 20 to 35 minutes. Tacoma is 27 miles south, around 30 minutes in normal conditions. Black car and car service pickups are straightforward from the FBO ramp. Link Light Rail runs from the airport to downtown Seattle in about 40 minutes with no traffic exposure, though it's less practical with luggage for charter passengers. Rideshare is available but pickup from the terminal area requires navigating commercial ground transport lanes.
