Maven by Midfield is the newest FBO at Oakland County International Airport in Waterford Township, Michigan, founded by owner and pilot Stephen R. Polk as a natural extension of his Midfield Management hangar complex. The 13-acre campus features 76,000 square feet of hangar space across four private hangar facilities, along with a newly renovated terminal, brand new fuel trucks, and new ground support equipment. The team consists of FBO industry veterans, pilots, or both, bringing experienced hands to a fresh operation. The terminal provides a warm and spacious environment with a conference room, crew lounge, flight planning area, and complimentary snacks and beverages, including a slushy machine that has become an unexpectedly popular amenity. Crew cars are available for ground transportation, and the FBO coordinates rental cars and other services. Maven offers Jet A and 100LL with volume discounts, along with deicing and lavatory service.
