About Port City Air

Port City Air is the largest and most capable FBO in the state of New Hampshire, operating 24/7 at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease, a former Strategic Air Command base with a 11,321-foot runway that can accommodate aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 747 or Airbus A380. The facility has operated at Pease for over 25 years and provides an exceptionally well-equipped terminal for charter passengers. The passenger lobby features complimentary gourmet coffee, candy, snacks, and soft drinks. A comfortable pilot lounge, weather and flight planning center, and crew shower area serve flight crews, while a Tesla Model 3 and five late-model Ford Explorers ensure crew cars are always available. The facility houses an FAR Part 145 Repair Station for turbine and piston maintenance on both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, along with a full avionics shop. Extensive ground service equipment and deicing capabilities address New England's demanding winter weather conditions. The FBO also handles commercial charter operations with check-in counter service, TSA security checkpoints, and jet bridge operations for scheduled charters. Port City Air's location on the New Hampshire Seacoast puts passengers within 10 minutes of downtown Portsmouth's acclaimed restaurant scene and historic waterfront. The Maine border is minutes away, and Portland, Maine is about an hour north. Boston is roughly 60 miles south, making Pease a viable alternative to the congested Boston-area airports for passengers whose destinations are in southern New Hampshire, Maine, or northern Massachusetts. The Kittery outlet shopping district is five minutes across the state line, and the White Mountains are about 90 minutes north. For passengers seeking a full-service FBO with serious infrastructure in a charming New England coastal setting, Port City Air punches well above the weight of its market size.
