About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation at DeKalb-Peachtree operates around the clock and covers the basics that matter for charter passengers: multiple hangar configurations, reliable crew amenities, and enough ramp space to handle a busy day without confusion.
The hangar breakdown is worth knowing if you have an aircraft to store or a meeting to hold on site. Hangar K gives you 15,500 square feet of floor space with a 3,250 square foot suite attached that includes office space, a kitchen, and a conference room, making it a functional option if your team wants to work during a layover. Hangar L runs 30,000 square feet as shared storage with office space included. Hangar O is a clear-span structure with a 108-foot by 30-foot Megadoor and 3,000 square feet of office, built to handle larger aircraft without obstruction.
For passengers, the terminal gives you what you need without pretense. The front counter keeps fresh baked cookies available, which is a small detail but one people notice after a long flight. The crew lounge includes shower and leisure rooms, and courtesy crew cars are available if the pilots need to run an errand on the ground. Conference rooms and workstations are accessible for passengers who want to work between legs.
A dedicated aircraft wash rack is on site, which matters for operators keeping their aircraft on a regular cleaning schedule. The 24/7 operation means your arrival time does not determine the quality of service you receive. PDK sits 15 miles from downtown Atlanta, and Atlantic's ramp is set up to get aircraft in, serviced, and back out efficiently.
Amenities and services
Operations at DeKalb Peachtree Airport
Downtown Atlanta is 11 miles southwest, typically 20 to 25 minutes by car. Buckhead is 8 miles and runs 15 to 20 minutes in normal traffic. Perimeter Center and Dunwoody are 10 to 15 minutes north. Alpharetta is roughly 25 miles and 30 to 35 minutes depending on I-285 and GA-400 conditions. Peachtree Industrial Boulevard sees afternoon congestion, so eastside routes can be quicker during peak hours. Car service and black car companies serving private aviation passengers are available through the FBOs on field.
