Greenbrier Valley Airport

Greenbrier Valley Airport exists primarily to serve one destination: The Greenbrier resort. The airport sits at 2,302 feet elevation in Greenbrier County, and the majority of private traffic here is resort-bound. If you're not going to The Greenbrier, Lewisburg itself is a small city of around 4,000 people with limited other reasons to fly in on a charter.

The airport has a single runway and handles light to medium jet traffic without issue. It is not a congested airport. No slot requirements, no noise curfews on record. FBO services are available on field. The airport does not have customs or international arrival capability, so this is domestic traffic only.

For larger aircraft, confirm runway length and weight limits with the FBO before booking. The field elevation and single-runway layout mean some heavy jets will prefer to position from Roanoke (ROA) or Charleston (CRW) instead.

The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs is about 10 miles from the airport, a 15 to 20 minute drive. The resort operates its own vehicle fleet and can arrange airport pickup directly. Car rental is available on field in limited capacity. Lewisburg is roughly 5 miles from the terminal.

For anything beyond the immediate valley, distances are significant. Roanoke, VA is about 75 miles southeast (roughly 1 hour 20 minutes). Charleston, WV is about 90 miles west (1 hour 30 minutes). There is no scheduled helicopter transfer service, but charter helicopter positioning from the resort is possible on request.
