About Jet Aviation Houston

Jet Aviation is at 8620 W. Monroe Road, 7 miles from downtown Houston. The facility was acquired from Enterprise Jet Center in 2012 and has operated under the Jet Aviation name since then.

The main hangar is 85,000 square feet, clear-span construction with no interior columns. The ramp covers 200,000 square feet. Jet Aviation is the only FBO at Houston Hobby with an aircraft canopy: a 10,000 square foot covered structure between the ramp and the terminal. For passengers arriving during a Texas summer thunderstorm or when the tarmac temperature exceeds 100 degrees, that canopy means you walk from the aircraft cabin to the terminal without stepping into direct weather.

The facility holds IS-BAH Stage 2 certification and is part of the Air Elite Network, Jet Aviation's global FBO program. A 30,000 square foot maintenance facility operates on-site. The terminal was renovated in 2023, with the lobby expanded to 6,362 square feet.

That renovation added a fitness center, which is not available at the other Houston Hobby FBOs. Snooze rooms and conference rooms are also available. The facility runs 24 hours a day.

For passengers who prefer to use time between flights for exercise rather than sitting in a lounge, the fitness center is a specific differentiator at this location. The aircraft canopy is the other standout feature: no other FBO at KHOU offers a covered walkway from the ramp to the building, and in Houston's climate that difference is noticeable.
