About Galaxy FBO Houston

Galaxy FBO is at 8912 Paul B. Koonce Street on the southeast side of Houston Hobby. For passengers arriving on large-cabin aircraft, the hangar capacity is the main practical consideration.

The facility has three existing hangars totaling more than 108,000 square feet. Hangar A is 290 by 125 feet. Hangar B also measures 290 by 125 feet. Hangar C runs 285 by 149 feet. All three have 28-foot interior heights and 245-foot door clearances, large enough to accommodate a Bombardier Global 7500 or a Gulfstream G650 without repositioning. A fourth hangar is under construction at 370 by 78 feet (approximately 29,000 square feet), with a targeted completion in December 2025, sized for mid-size and super-midsize jets.

Galaxy holds IS-BAH Stage 2 certification, an international safety standard for FBO ground operations, along with NATA Safety 1st Clean accreditation for cleaning protocols. Professional Pilot Magazine ranked Galaxy the number one small FBO chain in the United States for three consecutive years, based on surveys of pilots and charter operators.

The terminal includes a crew lounge, private showers, and a snooze room. Go Rentals handles car rentals on-site. The facility is open 24 hours a day, every day.

For passengers on overnight trips or early-morning departures, the 245-foot door clearances mean your aircraft can be hangared regardless of wingspan. The IS-BAH Stage 2 certification and the Professional Pilot ranking reflect assessments by third-party auditors and industry surveys, not the facility's own marketing materials.
