About Atlantic Aviation HOU
Atlantic Aviation is at 7930 Airport Boulevard, about 7 miles from downtown Houston. The facility's butterfly-shaped roof is the most visible feature from the ramp, the result of a $24 million renovation completed around 2017, timed to serve the private aircraft traffic for Super Bowl LI.
The renovation added two new 32,000 square foot hangars alongside a refurbished 34,000 square foot structure originally built in the 1970s. That gives the facility covered storage for a range of aircraft sizes without relying entirely on open ramp space.
For passengers, the terminal covers the basics for a rest stop or working layover. Private showers and a snooze room are open 24 hours a day. A conference room with AV equipment is available for business meetings between flights. Ground transportation comes through crew cars on-site and a Go Rentals partnership for longer stays or one-way pickups.
Atlantic operates around the clock, every day. Whether your flight arrives at midnight or you need to depart before sunrise, the facility is staffed and the amenities are accessible. Downtown Houston is 7 miles away, which puts most hotels, the convention center, and the Texas Medical Center within a short drive.
Houston Hobby handles both commercial and general aviation on separate ramps. Atlantic's position on Airport Boulevard gives charter passengers a direct ramp-to-terminal path without routing through the commercial side of the field. The butterfly-shaped roof is a useful visual landmark from the ramp.
