About DFW Corporate Aviation
DFW Corporate Aviation is the sole FBO at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world. Located at 1816 North 24th Avenue within the airport complex, Corporate Aviation handles all private and corporate aircraft arriving at and departing from DFW. There is no competing FBO on the field, so all private aviation traffic flows through this single facility.
The FBO operates from 5:00 AM to midnight daily. After-hours operations are available with advance confirmation, though a $250-per-hour surcharge applies for services between midnight and 5:00 AM. The facility provides ground transportation, catering requests, conference room access, and staff can arrange shuttles between the FBO and DFW's commercial terminals on demand. The FBO accepts AVCARD and all other major credit cards.
DFW International offers seven runways with the longest at 13,401 feet, full Category III ILS approaches, and the operational infrastructure of a world-class hub airport. For large-cabin aircraft and ultra-long-range jets, DFW provides runway lengths and weight-bearing capacity that smaller Dallas-area airports cannot match.
However, charter passengers should understand the trade-offs. Private aviation at a major commercial hub means longer taxi times, potential sequencing delays, and a less intimate experience compared to dedicated general aviation airports like Dallas Love Field, Addison, or Fort Worth Meacham. Most private jet traffic in the DFW metroplex uses those smaller airports for good reason.
For passengers who specifically need DFW, whether for airline connections, proximity to the airport's surrounding business corridor, or because their aircraft requires the longer runways, Corporate Aviation provides competent ground support within the constraints of operating at a major commercial facility.

Operations at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
Downtown Dallas is approximately 18 miles southeast of the airport, a 25 to 40 minute drive depending on traffic on I-35E or the north Dallas Tollway. Uptown and the Design District run about 22 miles and add 5 to 10 minutes. Fort Worth's downtown is roughly 20 miles west, typically 25 to 35 minutes via I-30. The Metroplex has no significant helicopter charter transfer infrastructure for routine ground transport, so car service is the standard option. The major FBOs can arrange ground transportation on request, and national car service companies operate at the airport around the clock.
