About Signature Flight Support
Signature Flight Support is the sole FBO at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, giving it exclusive control of private aviation services at one of the most strategically located airports in the Mid-Atlantic region. The facility at 2 Aaronson Drive in Glen Burnie operates 24/7 and features 53,000 square feet of heated hangar space with capacity for the largest business jets, including Global Express and Gulfstream G-V class aircraft. On-site U.S. Customs and Border Protection handles international clearances, eliminating the need to route through the main commercial terminal. BWI's position between Baltimore and Washington, D.C., with Annapolis to the east, makes it a versatile arrival point for charter passengers with business anywhere in the Capital Region. The airport connects directly to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and is accessible from Interstate 95, I-97, and the Baltimore Beltway. Valet vehicle-to-plane ramp access is a signature service here, allowing passengers and their vehicles to meet directly at the aircraft for maximum convenience and privacy. BWI is often described as the easy alternative to the congested Dulles and Reagan airports, with shorter taxi times and simpler ground logistics for private aviation. The general aviation ramp is well separated from the busy commercial operations. For charter passengers headed to the U.S. Naval Academy, Fort Meade, the NSA campus, Johns Hopkins medical facilities, or the federal agencies in Washington, Signature BWI provides a central location that avoids the worst of D.C.-area traffic.
