About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation's Nashville facility reopened in 2024 with a new 12,000-square-foot FBO terminal and a 30,000-square-foot heated hangar with adjoining office and shop space, part of a significant investment in Nashville's booming private aviation market. The terminal features a spacious lobby, a cafe, a business center with two conference rooms equipped with audiovisual and teleconferencing, an expanded crew lounge with quiet rooms and private showers, and a separate VIP passenger lounge with direct aircraft access. The interior design won recognition at the 2025 IIDA Best of the Best Awards. Men's and women's locker rooms, a full kitchen, and a training room round out the amenities. For charter passengers, the VIP lounge allows a completely private arrival and departure experience without passing through the main lobby. Heated hangar space accommodates aircraft up to Gulfstream G450 size. Atlantic's concierge team goes beyond standard ground transportation to arrange golf tee times, event tickets, and restaurant reservations at Nashville's best dining spots. Hertz rental cars and complimentary shuttle service are available on site, along with crew cars. Nashville has seen explosive growth in tourism and corporate relocations, making BNA one of the fastest-growing private aviation markets in the Southeast. The airport is about 8 miles from downtown, with the honky-tonks of Broadway, the Grand Ole Opry, and Music Row all within a short drive. Atlantic BNA operates 24 hours with full international services capability.
Amenities and services
Operations at Nashville International Airport
Downtown Nashville is 8 miles from the airport and takes 15 to 25 minutes by car, depending on time of day. Interstate 40 is the primary route, and traffic on the downtown connector can stack during evening hours. Rideshare pickup is at the commercial terminal, but FBO staff typically arrange car service directly to the ramp for private arrivals. Several car rental companies operate on-site. Franklin and Brentwood, the main southern suburbs, are 20 to 25 miles out and run about 30 minutes without traffic. Opryland and the Gaylord Opryland Resort are 5 miles north, roughly 10 minutes. Helicopter transfers are not a standard option from BNA given the short ground distances involved.
