Darlington town center is 6 miles west, roughly 12 minutes by car. Middlesbrough is 14 miles northeast, about 25 minutes. Durham city is 20 miles north, around 30 minutes via the A167. Newcastle city center is 38 miles north, approximately 45 minutes on the A1(M). York is 50 miles south, about 55 minutes. Taxis and private car hire are available from the terminal. If you are heading to the North York Moors or Herriot country, Teesside puts you closer than any other regional airport.
