About Chartright Air Group

Chartright Air Group's FBO at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport opened in 2022 and offers 34,000 square feet of climate-controlled hangar space capable of housing aircraft up to the Bombardier Global 7500. The terminal features a spacious lobby, separate passenger and crew lounges with complimentary wireless internet and cable TV, bistro kitchen facilities with refreshments, pilot rest areas, and a boardroom seating up to 10 people. On-site customs processing handles international arrivals without requiring a trip to a larger airport. The facility provides a full suite of ground services including baggage handling, aircraft cleaning, fueling, de-icing, hangar storage, and catering coordination. For charter passengers visiting cottage country, this FBO is a direct gateway to Barrie, Orillia, and the Muskoka region. The airport has a 6,000-foot runway rated for aircraft up to the Boeing 737, and sits just off Highway 11 with quick access to both the cottage communities to the north and Greater Toronto to the south (about 90 minutes by car). Lake Simcoe Regional avoids the airspace congestion and high fees of Toronto Pearson while still offering capable infrastructure for large-cabin jets. Chartright can arrange car rentals, hotel bookings, and ground transportation to nearby resort towns. The separate crew facilities mean pilots have their own space with rest areas, keeping the passenger lounge quiet and private. This is one of Chartright's newer locations and complements their larger operations at Waterloo and Toronto Pearson.
