About Onward Aviation
Onward Aviation is a privately owned, full-service FBO operating from Hangar 4 at Hamilton's John C. Munro International Airport. The facility has been serving private aviation since the early 1980s and offers a practical alternative to the congestion and higher fees at Toronto Pearson, about 70 kilometers to the northeast. The flight lounge features direct ramp views, large-screen TVs, a wellness and quiet room, a private flight planning room, showers, and an eat-in kitchen. Two well-appointed hangars totaling 40,000 square feet handle both short-term and long-term aircraft storage. The FBO operates 24/7 with Canada Border Services Agency access on site, which makes it a viable option for US-Canada cross-border flights. One of Onward Aviation's standout features is the smooth arrival experience: the FBO offers direct ramp access, so passengers step off their aircraft and walk a short distance into the lounge. Freshly brewed coffee and refreshments are available any time. Hamilton's location in the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario puts it within reach of Niagara Falls (about an hour), downtown Toronto (about an hour depending on traffic), and the broader Hamilton-Burlington corridor. For charter passengers who want to avoid Pearson's slot restrictions and busy airspace, Hamilton is a compelling choice. The airport has a 10,000-foot primary runway capable of handling large jets, and Onward's team has experience hosting high-profile guests including CEOs, entertainers, professional athletes, and government officials.
