About Signature Flight Support
Signature Flight Support's Edmonton location is operated by Airside FBO Operations, which joined the Signature network in 2012 as the brand's second licensed location in Canada. The facility sits on the airport's east side and includes a 9,000 square-foot FBO terminal, four hangars totaling approximately 20,000 square feet each, over 30,000 square feet of office space, and an 80,000 square-foot ramp. Inside the terminal, passengers will find a lounge area, while crew members have access to a dedicated pilot lounge, a gym facility, a flight planning room, and a snooze room. The FBO delivers the full portfolio of Signature services including the TailWins pilot rewards program. On-site customs and immigration processing is available for international arrivals, and the facility can handle medical and ambulance flights. For charter passengers, the Signature experience at Edmonton follows the familiar formula: arrive at the private terminal, proceed through the passenger lobby, and walk a short distance to your aircraft on the ramp. The facility operates extended hours to accommodate early and late arrivals. Ground handling includes fueling with Jet A1, de-icing, and aircraft towing. Edmonton International is about 30 minutes south of downtown via Highway 2, and the FBO can coordinate car rentals and ground transportation. The Signature brand provides consistency for travelers who use their FBOs at other airports worldwide.

Operations at Edmonton International Airport
Downtown Edmonton is approximately 29 km north of the airport, a drive of 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic on Highway 2 (the Queen Elizabeth II Highway). The Nisku business park and many oil and gas corporate campuses are within 10 to 15 minutes of the terminal. Leduc is 10 minutes south. Car service and black car operators are available from the airport, and major rental car companies have on-site counters. The Edmonton Valley Line LRT does not currently extend to the airport; ground transportation by car is the practical option. Banff is roughly 3.5 hours by road via Highway 2 south to the Trans-Canada.
