About Shell AeroCentre Edmonton
Shell AeroCentre Edmonton, operated by YEG FBO Services, is one of three FBOs at Edmonton International Airport and stands out for its range of passenger lounges scaled to different group sizes. The facility offers a 20-passenger VIP Gold lounge for corporate clients and aircraft owners, a 150-seat area for air charter groups, and a 400-seat secured passenger lounge for large-scale operations. All lounges are modernly furnished with comfortable seating, complimentary coffee, and catering available on request. The AeroCentre contains two terminal buildings with a combined four hangars spanning approximately 70,000 square feet, capable of sheltering most business aircraft types. The ramp extends across a large secured area with short-term and long-term parking in a well-lit lot equipped with energized stalls for cold-weather engine block heaters, an important detail during Edmonton's harsh winters. The facility operates 24/7, handling everything from quick fuel stops to complex helicopter operations. On-site Canada Customs clearance makes international arrivals seamless. For charter passengers arriving or departing Edmonton, the AeroCentre provides a straightforward experience: drive into the secure parking area, walk into the terminal, and proceed directly to your aircraft on the ramp. The airport is located about 30 minutes south of downtown Edmonton via Highway 2, and ground transport can be arranged through the FBO. The facility also handles medical and ambulance flights, reflecting the airport's role as a hub for northern Alberta operations.
