The summer market peaks in July and August, drops sharply in September as fishing crowds thin, then picks back up briefly in late September for fall foliage and elk bugling.

Jackson Hole Airport (KJAC) sits inside Grand Teton National Park, the only commercial airport in the US located within a national park boundary. This creates hard constraints: the airport cannot expand, curfew restrictions apply (no arrivals or departures between 10 PM and 7 AM local), and the 6,300-foot runway limits aircraft to midsize jets and below at normal weights. Heavy jets and ultra-long-range aircraft exceeding the weight limit must route to Salt Lake City or Idaho Falls and transfer.

The single FBO, Million Air, handles all private aviation at KJAC. Ramp space is finite and fills fast on holiday weekends. Presidents' Day weekend, Christmas week, and spring break weeks in March are the tightest periods. Operators who have not pre-coordinated parking by Wednesday before a peak weekend often cannot guarantee ramp access.

Ground transportation from KJAC to Teton Village (the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort) takes 25-35 minutes. Downtown Jackson is 10 minutes. The airport's national park location means no commercial development on the perimeter; the terminal area is small and ground logistics require coordination in advance for peak weekends.
