Palma de Mallorca Airport is the primary arrival point for private charters to Mallorca and the wider Balearic Islands. During the peak summer months (June through September), the airport operates at or near capacity, and slot coordination is mandatory. Plan to secure slots well in advance during this window; last-minute requests are routinely denied. Outside of peak season, general aviation traffic is manageable and slot availability is rarely an issue.

The general aviation terminal handles FBO services separately from the commercial concourses. Several ground handlers operate at LEPA including Jet Aviation, which offers the full range of handling, fueling, and crew services. The facility is set up for international arrivals with customs and immigration on-site. Night operations are subject to noise abatement restrictions, which can affect late departures and early arrivals depending on aircraft type.

Palma city center is about 8 km west of the airport, a 15 to 20 minute drive in normal traffic. The Tramuntana mountain villages (Valldemossa, Deià, Sóller) are 35 to 50 minutes by road. Port Andratx on the southwest coast runs about 40 minutes. Alcúdia and the northern bays are 55 to 65 minutes depending on route. Chauffeur-driven transfers are widely available through FBO coordination. Taxis queue outside arrivals, and car hire desks are in the main terminal for longer stays on the island.
