About Sparks Aviation Center

Sparks Aviation Center has been family-owned and operated at Tulsa International since 1993, at 3112 N 74th East Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115, phone 918-835-2048. The FBO is co-located with Autopilots Central, an avionics and instruments shop founded in 1954 with more than 70 years of history in autopilot systems, avionics, and instrument work. If your aircraft requires avionics attention during a stop, the technical depth on site goes beyond what most FBOs can offer.

The operation handles a wide range of aircraft, from Gulfstream 550s down to Cessna 150s. Full-service fueling, hangar access, and ground handling are available regardless of aircraft size, making this a practical choice whether you are arriving on a heavy jet or a smaller turboprop.

One detail that sets Sparks apart from other Tulsa FBOs: Evelyn's Soul Food restaurant is located steps from the FBO lobby. If you arrive hungry or want a meal before a departure, you do not need to arrange transport off the field. Evelyn's is a local institution with a genuine following, not a generic airport food concession.

The family ownership model shapes the day-to-day operation. Staff continuity tends to be higher at independent FBOs than at chain locations, and the institutional knowledge that comes from 30-plus years on one field means the team understands Tulsa's traffic patterns, weather tendencies, and the ground transport options that actually work.

Tulsa International is 6 miles from downtown, and Sparks is positioned on the field to handle arrivals and departures efficiently at all hours.
