About Luxivair SBD

Luxivair SBD is the airport-owned FBO at San Bernardino International Airport, built on the site of the former Norton Air Force Base in Southern California's Inland Empire. The terminal building makes a strong first impression with a two-story atrium lobby featuring travertine floors, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and sweeping views of the San Bernardino Mountains to the north.

Inside, the amenities go well beyond what most FBOs offer. A theater room with stadium seating provides entertainment for passengers or crews between flights. There is also an advanced conference room, a flight planning room, a crew lounge, and an exercise room. Freshly baked cookies greet arriving guests, a small touch that signals the facility's hospitality-forward approach. Concierge staff coordinate premium courtesy vehicles, rental cars, hotel shuttles, and catering.

One of Luxivair SBD's strongest selling points is its on-site U.S. Customs and Immigration facility, making it one of the most efficient international entry points in Southern California. Compared to the congestion and higher fees at Van Nuys, Burbank, or Long Beach, clearing customs at SBD can save significant time and hassle on inbound international flights.

The airport's main runway stretches 10,001 feet, a legacy of its military origins, and can handle the largest business jets without restriction. San Bernardino sits about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, with easy freeway access to the I-10 and I-215 corridors. Palm Springs, Big Bear Lake, and the Ontario business corridor are all within reasonable driving distance. For passengers willing to land slightly outside the LA basin, Luxivair SBD delivers a premium experience at a fraction of the cost and congestion found at coastal airports.
