About Glacier Aviation

Glacier Aviation, also known as Glacier Jet Center, is the second FBO at Olympia Regional Airport, located at 7645 Old Highway 99 SE. The facility provides fuel service, hangar space, and a range of ground support services for general aviation traffic at Washington's capital city airport. Glacier's amenities include a separate pilot lounge, snooze rooms with showers, and courtesy cars for crew ground transportation. Hertz operates a rental car office at the location, which is convenient for charter passengers who need to drive to meetings at the State Capitol or nearby Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Concierge services extend to gourmet catering and assistance with local arrangements. Corporate hangars are available for aircraft storage, and the FBO provides GPU, oxygen, and lavatory services. Glacier Aviation also operates as a flight training center, offering helicopter, airplane, and drone instruction, which means the facility stays active and staffed throughout the day. The training operation adds energy to the ramp but does not typically interfere with business aviation movements. Olympia Regional Airport sits about 60 miles south of Seattle, providing an alternative to the congested airspace and higher costs at Sea-Tac, Boeing Field, and Paine Field for passengers whose destination is in the South Puget Sound area. The city of Olympia offers a compact downtown with restaurants, hotels, and the State Capitol campus all within a short drive. Tacoma is roughly 30 miles north. For passengers who value a quieter, less hurried arrival experience and whose travel plans center on Thurston County or southern Pierce County, Glacier Aviation at Olympia Regional provides solid FBO fundamentals with friendly service.
