About Million Air Florida Keys

Million Air Florida Keys operates the FBO at Marathon International Airport, positioned in the heart of the island chain between Key Largo and Key West. The location at approximately mile marker 52 provides charter passengers with central access to the entire Keys archipelago, from Islamorada's sport fishing grounds to the north to the Lower Keys and Key West about 45 minutes south by car.

Million Air acquired the former Marathon Jet Center in January 2022 and has maintained the facility's personal, island-casual atmosphere while bringing the Million Air brand's service standards to the operation. A beverage cart concierge greets arriving aircraft on the ramp, and refreshments are available inside the FBO terminal. The facility is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with after-hours callout available for late arrivals.

Landing and facility fees are waived with a minimum fuel purchase, keeping costs reasonable for operators. The 5,008-foot runway handles light jets and turboprops, which are the most common aircraft types visiting the Keys. Midsize jets should verify performance requirements given the runway length.

Marathon is a fishing and diving destination. The surrounding waters offer world-class flats fishing for bonefish, permit, and tarpon, along with deep-sea fishing for marlin, sailfish, and tuna. Sombrero Reef, one of the most popular dive and snorkel sites in the Keys, is just offshore. The Seven Mile Bridge, one of the most photographed structures in Florida, connects Marathon to the Lower Keys.

Compared to Key West, Marathon offers a quieter, more laid-back atmosphere and avoids the congestion and noise restrictions that can complicate private aviation operations at Key West International. For charter passengers whose Keys destination is fishing, diving, boating, or simply waterfront relaxation, Marathon provides a more direct arrival than flying to Key West and driving back.
