About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation at New Orleans International occupies the North GA Ramp at 749 Lockheed Drive in Kenner, providing a second FBO option for charter passengers alongside Signature Flight Support. The facility underwent a remodel that updated the pilot lounge, added a spacious conference room, and improved the overall terminal environment.
The FBO operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a staff that includes a concierge familiar with New Orleans restaurants, entertainment, and local attractions. The lounge offers complimentary Wi-Fi and refreshments. Ground transportation is arranged through the front desk, with rental cars, car service, and limousine options available.
Access to the North GA Ramp is via Aberdeen Drive off Veterans Boulevard, a straightforward route from the nearby interstate. The French Quarter is about 15 miles east, a 20 to 30-minute drive depending on traffic conditions. The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, which hosts major events throughout the year, is about 12 miles from the airport.
New Orleans generates some of the highest private aviation demand in the South, driven by Mardi Gras, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the Essence Festival, Saints and Pelicans games, and a constant stream of conventions and corporate events. During peak periods, ramp space at both FBOs fills quickly, and advance coordination is important.
Atlantic's recently remodeled facilities and attentive concierge service have earned it a following among operators who appreciate personal attention and local knowledge. The staff can recommend restaurants beyond the tourist standards, point passengers toward live music happening that evening, or arrange a table at one of the city's fine dining establishments.
For charter passengers who value a quieter, more personalized terminal experience alongside competitive fuel pricing, Atlantic MSY is a strong option at one of the country's most visited private aviation destinations.

Operations at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
Downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter are about 13 miles east via I-10, typically a 25 to 35 minute drive in normal traffic. During major festivals or Saints game days, that stretch of I-10 can back up significantly and the drive can run 60 minutes or more. Car service and black car operators are plentiful given the volume of event travelers the city draws. Rental cars are available at the airport. Rideshare pickup is straightforward from the FBO side. There is no rail connection between the airport and downtown.
