Avflight Saginaw

Avflight Saginaw is the sole FBO at MBS International Airport, serving Michigan's Tri-Cities region of Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland from a full-service facility at 8430 Garfield Road in Freeland. The operation runs 24 hours a day, though after-hours service between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. carries a $250 callout fee.

The terminal includes a passenger lounge with complimentary refreshments, conference rooms, a crew lounge with snooze rooms and showers, and free Wi-Fi throughout. These are more generous amenities than you might expect at a mid-Michigan regional airport, and they reflect the facility's need to accommodate the corporate flight departments that serve the Dow Chemical and Dow Corning headquarters in nearby Midland.

Ground transportation is well covered with both rental cars and courtesy vehicles available. The staff provides concierge services for hotel arrangements, restaurant recommendations, and local logistics. On-site avionics services are available for operators needing technical support during a stop.

MBS International has two runways, with the longest at 8,001 feet, handling all common business jet types. The airport is centrally located between the three cities, about 10 miles from each downtown, making it equally convenient regardless of your destination in the region.

The Tri-Cities area offers more than industrial business travel. The Great Lakes Bay Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau promotes the region for its wineries, golf courses, and access to Lake Huron's Saginaw Bay. Frankenmuth, Michigan's "Little Bavaria" and home to the famous Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, is about 20 miles south.
