About Aero Center Wilmington
Aero Center Wilmington is the newer of two FBOs at Wilmington International Airport, having opened in 2022 as part of the Aero Centers brand owned by SAR Trilogy Management. The facility was purpose-built with 11,000 square feet of terminal and office space, two hangars totaling 25,000 square feet with ceiling heights that can accommodate the largest business jets on the market, and a 50,000-gallon fuel farm stocking Jet A, 100LL, and ground support equipment fuel. The ramp provides about 100,000 square feet of parking area, and roughly 150,000 square feet of total ramp space is available across the property. The FBO is part of both the Air Elite and World Fuel Services networks, giving operators access to fuel programs and contract pricing through those platforms. Aero Center is located at 1830 Flightline Road, separate from the other FBO on the field, which allows for a dedicated ramp experience. The addition of a second FBO at ILM brought competition that benefits charter operators and passengers through improved service and pricing. Wilmington International has two runways, with the primary at 7,999 feet, and the airport serves the growing southeastern North Carolina coast. Downtown Wilmington's riverfront restaurants and shops are about 10 minutes away, and Wrightsville Beach is 15 minutes east. After-hours service is available by calling 910-760-9198, though an additional fee applies. For charter passengers arriving in the Wilmington area, Aero Center offers a modern, recently built alternative with the latest terminal design and fuel infrastructure.
