About Atlantic Aviation

Atlantic Aviation at Cape Cod Gateway Airport serves as the primary FBO for private aviation travelers heading to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. The facility is located on the North Ramp off Taxiway D in Hyannis, Massachusetts, at the geographic center of Cape Cod. From here, passengers can reach most Cape destinations within 20 to 30 minutes by car, and ferry terminals for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket are nearby in Hyannis Harbor. Atlantic provides Jet A fueling, catering, baggage service, and their standard hospitality package with a comfortable terminal and concierge support. The airport has two runways, the longer at 5,425 feet, which handles light and midsize jets well. During the summer season from Memorial Day through Labor Day, Cape Cod Gateway sees a dramatic increase in private aviation traffic as families, second-home owners, and event guests arrive for weddings, golf outings, and beach vacations. The Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port is less than 10 minutes from the airport. Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are also reachable by short connecting flights from the airport, and Atlantic can help coordinate those connections. After-hours Jet A sales are available through the airport operations facility, though additional fees apply for service outside regular hours. The Cape has a seasonal rhythm that charter passengers should be aware of: summer weekends can be extremely busy on the ramp, while shoulder seasons in May and October offer a quieter arrival. Atlantic's national network provides consistent service standards at a location where demand is highly concentrated in a few peak months.

Hyannis center is about 3 miles from the airport, roughly 10 minutes by car. Car service and rental cars are available on the field. The Hyannis ferry terminal, where high-speed boats depart for Nantucket (about 1 hour) and Martha's Vineyard (about 55 minutes), is under 2 miles from the airport. If your final destination is Nantucket or the Vineyard and conditions allow, many operators can fly direct to ACK or MVY instead. Boston is 70 miles by road, but plan for 90 minutes to 2.5 hours in summer depending on bridge wait times.
